Those of you who have followed Apple rumors in the past probably know well about Twitter user Chronic Wire, who’s been a source for Apple leaks. This time around, Chronic Wire is claiming that Apple will bring unlocked iPhones to its Apple stores by as early as this Wednesday. Considering that Apple stores have never offered unlocked iPhones in the past, this is an interesting development.
According to Chronic Wire, Apple will focus on integrating Nuance voice recognition technology in iOS 5. A couple of screen-shots are available that demonstrate how voice control will work in iOS 5.
Many Apple fans are disappointed having not heard more information about iPhone 5 at WWDC. The good news is we may see more iPhone and iPad upgrades in the near future. Adnaan Ahmad of Berenberg Bank has suggested that Apple could refresh iPad and iPhone product lines every 6 months. Apple is expected to put more pressure on its competitors by offering a budget-friendly iPhone. These are of course just rumors at this point.
