In the past, we have covered some of the accessories you can use to capture panoramic photos on your iPhone. You don’t always need a fancy gadget to do this though. These 5 iOS apps enable you to develop quality panoramas on your phone or tablet easily:
360 Panorama: a powerful application that enables you to take stunning panoramas everywhere you go. It stitches your photos together in real-time and geo-tags your work too.
DMD Panorama: makes capturing panoramas on your phone super easy. It gives you control over light exposure. It comes with a fully automated capture system.
Panorama 360 Camera: captures and combines your images to develop your panoramas. We found the stitching process to be quite quick. It supports gyroscope auto shutter for newer iPhones and iPads.
AutoStitch Panorama: it can create images up to 18 MP in resolution. It stitches photos in any order (vertical or horizontal). Automatic and manual cropping are available.
Photosynth: this list would not be complete without a decent free panoramic app. It lets you look and capture in all directions. It offers fast on-device processing and a smooth stitching engine.
Thanks to the above iOS apps, you won’t need a fancy gadget to capture panoramic photos on your iPhone or iPad. Have you found better apps? Please add them in the comments section.
