Spending most of your time behind a desk in your office is not healthy. Doing a bit of stretching and moving your body from time to time gets the blood flowing in your body and reduces your stress. You don’t have to get home to get started with stretching though. Here are 4 iPhone apps that teach you how to stretch your body in your office:
Lastics Office Stretch: offers a number of moves you can do in your office. It provides video demonstrations to show you how to do each move the right way. Videos are about 2-4 minutes long.
StretchPro: it provides you with instructions on stretching and relaxing 8 points of your body. Includes stretches you can do during your flights or in your office.
Office-Fit: this goes well beyond stretches. It offers over 60 exercises you can do anywhere. It does have a couple of bugs but is still very decent.
Office Yoga: a little bit on the cute side but does include a variety of postures you can try in your office. It has simple exercises for stretching up your neck, back, and shoulders.
Sitting behind a desk all day is not healthy. The above apps show you how to relax your body and get the blood flowing in it without wasting too much company time.
