Great post exactly what I was looking for. I’ve been wanting to do an
animated gif film of the words ‘I hate peas’ forming on my plate for a
long. I now have the tools to achieve this. It never really worked
before. I always got really frustrated and eventually just given my dog
the plate dinner to eat. But anyway…. I would also like to recommend
an app call Jittergram. It’s free and allows you to make animated gifs
and 3d images. It is set for 2 images as default, but you can slide to
infinity and take lots a of photos to make gif from multiple
images sequence. The app has a ‘ghosting’ effect to help you line up the next shot.
You could also use these app to do some
basic stop motion filming if you mount the phone on a stand and move the subject. There is an inapp purchase so you can add hand drawn animated effects. PS. you might even see my ‘I hate peas’ gif on tumblr on day in the future.
