In the past few months, we have stayed away from Cydia applications just to make sure people who shouldn’t be jailbreaking their phones don’t be tempted to do so. But there is no question that there are plenty of useful applications available through Cydia. Not every is going to make it to iTunes, which is why having an alternative app market is helpful.
There are plenty of Cydia apps around, in fact to many to list here. But here are 10 Cydia apps that could get you started on the right track:
Infinidock: as the name suggest, this application makes it easy to customize your iPhone’s interface and add as many icons as you want to your dock.
Overboard: a very handy app that can show an overview of SpringBoard’s pages and allow you to jump among them. Supports Winterboard themes as well.
Fast Reader: a very cool app that integrates a customizable reader in your lockscreen. You can add Twitter Search and all kinds of feeds to your lockscreen.
Xpandr: a cool little app that allows you to define an unlimited number of shortcuts to help you get more done on the road without doing more. Pretty useful if you use your creativity.
Action Menu Plus Pack: a super app that adds a variety of actions with every application on your iPhone. It works with your Twitter clients as well.
CalendarPro: puts your calendar on steroids. It seamlessly integrates into Calendar and gives you the ability to create new ring profiles, or set up rules for events and …
3G Unrestrictor: if you are tired of some of the restrictions that Apple puts on your apps, you can use 3G unrestrictor to get around them. Pretty useful with apps that have been restricted to work over 3G.
