8 Best iPhone Cardio Apps
4iPhone was great for runners and those into working out on a consistent basis from the get go, but over the years it has become even more useful for fitness purposes (especially due to all the new fitness apps that have made it to iTunes). iPhone can be quite handy if you want to get a cardio workout in and want to keep track of your stats. It can help you stay on the right track and get your body moving more often.
These 8 iPhone apps are especially useful if you do cardio workouts on a consistent basis:
Lolo Burn: it’s like having your very own fitness trainer. This app can motivate you and help you burn more calories and get your heart pumping more often.
iCardio for iPhone: a powerful heart rate monitor that works with Digifit Connect and ANT+ compatible heart rate monitors to bring you accurate readings on your iPhone.
cyctastic GPS computer: a useful application for those of you who want to burn those calories on your bike. It automatically records time, distance, calories consumption, speed, and elevation.
Cardio Track 2: a handy application that keeps track of those important cardio stats to help you stay on the right track with your workouts.
ITGO – Interval Trainer GO: a powerful timer that lets you time your workout sessions, warm up, and cool down your body the proper way.
iHeartRate: a heart rate monitor, training zone meter, real time calorie counter, and chronograph all fit into one app. Great for all kinds of cardio workouts.
Run Coach: it’s a powerful training plan application that will get you running and fit in no time. Provides you with detailed feedback, tips, and even diet information.
iTreadmill: one of the coolest applications money can buy. If you are into running and want to go beyond what your treadmill offers, this app is all you need. It’s a pedometer on steroids that can keep you on the right track at all times.
The above cardio apps won’t do the workouts for you but they help you keep track of them and stay on the right track with your plans no matter where you are.

should add CardioTracker to your list.
Hi,
There is a new app for measuring your pulse with your webcam: Heart Beat Rate
It runs with the webcam. I believe you should put your finger over the webcam to measure your pulse. This is much better than iHeartRate.
You should test it.
Will probably do a video review if it is any good 😉
