The iPhone has a pretty decent battery life in comparison to some of its competitors. If you are planning to spend a few hours on the road, your phone is more than capable of lasting that long. You are always going to need to charge your device once in a while though. The electree+ is a bonsai-shaped solar inductive charger that harnesses the power of the sun to generate power for your phone.
The electree+ looks like a tree and has tiny solar panels in shape of leaves. They help power a 14000 mAh battery (capable of charging an iPhone 5 over 9 times). The solar panels can be adjusted to capture more light. The charger will have two USB ports just in case you want to charge other gadgets. The electree+ can be fully recharged in 36 hours. It will be available in several colors. This exciting project is currently being funded on Kickstarter.
Many consumers love getting their hands on smartphones with very high resolution cameras. The iPhone already has a powerful set of cameras. Black Eyed Pea Will.i.am is planning to introduce a product that further enhances the iPhone’s 8 MP camera. The add-on will be called i.am+ and will turn your handset’s 8 MP camera into a 14 MP one.
We have our own sensor and a better flash. You dock your phone into our device and it turns your smartphone into a genius-phone.
Will.i.am explained to the Telegraph. How much better iPhones will be with such an add-on? That remains to be seen. We are not sure how it is going to work. Apple has granted him a developmental license though. The add-on will be launched on November 28. Excited already?
