In the future, many deliveries will be done with drones. These flying robots can already be used to deliver medicine and other items to hard-to-reach areas. Take PackDrone for instance: it is a safe delivery drone with a cage that protects the drone, people, and package it is carrying. It has a payload of 0.5kg and autonomous navigation to facilitate last cm delivery.
The system has a Sender & Recipient app. The sender app lets you issue commands to deliver the cargo and monitor battery level or drone position. The Recipient app shows the location of the UAV in real-time.
