Meet the X-Fly: a new app controlled biomimetic flying creature by the makers of Bionic Bird and MetaFly. It soars, dives, and flutters like real birds and insects. You can control it by tilting your phone or using the touchscreen. An optional joystick is also available for it (X-Play). You can fly this indoors and outside. X-Fly has max speed of 12mph with max range of 330ft.
This robotic creature has a flexible neck that serves as a bumper. To get started, you simply attach the wings to the body, choose control method, and you are set. An optional LED module is available for this robot that creates a halo like glow around the X-Fly. The companion app can record your flight data.
