Meet the WonderSense: a smartphone connected sensor node that can come handy for your robotics, wearables, and gesture based projects. It is a TDK InvenSence 9-axis IMU sensor with maximum 300Hz wireless sampling rate. It is the size of a wristwatch and weighs only 10 grams. The sensor comes with SDK for iOS, Android, and C#.
Once you connect the WonderSense node to your phone, you will be able to see acceleration, gyro, and magnetism data in real-time. Want to use it to control game characters with hand gestures? No problem. This project is getting funded on Kickstarter.
