Unitree’s robot dogs have gotten a lot of coverage in the media. The company has now introduced a portable gym adapted from its robots’ joint design. The Unitree Pump weighs only 700g and offers adjustable resistance from 4.4 to 44lbs. It has 6 training modes, including concentric, eccentric, constant, and chain modes.
The companion app not only comes with exercises you can try but also games to keep workout fun. Pump can anchor to any doorway, chair or even your ankle for 100s of workouts. Up to 8 Pumps can be combined for a total of 352lbs resistance. There are also a bunch of accessories that let you use Pump to replace traditional exercise machines, such as a rower or smith machine. The companion app records your data, including reps, number of sets, and calories burned.
