There are already plenty of iPhone compatible door locks that let you unlock your door with your smartphone easily. U-tec has announced a couple of new ones that can make your life easier. The ULTRALOQ Bolt series is compatible with Google Home, SmartThings, and IFTTT. You have Fingerprint & Apple Home Key enabled NFC editions to choose from.
These smart door locks have WiFi connectivity and won’t need a hub. You will be able to unlock your door with fingerprint ID, code, or app (depending on the version you choose). These locks can also be unlocked with a tap on your Apple Watch. The ULTRALOQ Bolt Fingerprint Edition has a 360-degree live fingerprint ID with an AI self-learning algorithm to improve over time. The battery life lasts up to a year.
