StarSense Explorer DX 130AZ Smartphone Connected Telescope

Just like anything else, telescopes are getting smarter all the time. The StarSense Explorer DX 130AZ is a smartphone compatible Newtonian reflector telescope that combines with your phone to give you a guided tour of the night sky. Its app generates a list of objects currently visible to take the guesswork out of the process.

This telescope has 25mm and 10mm eyepieces. It comes with a convenient dock for your phone too. It has an altazimuth mount with slow motion controls. StarSense Explorer is smart enough to know where the telescope is pointed at the night sky. It retails for under $400 at the time of this writing.
