SALT Card: Keyless Entry for Your iPhone

Augmented reality toys & gizmos ➡️ for iPhone & iPad

Many of us store our personal information on our smartphone. We use a passcode to make sure strangers can’t access our sensitive data. That’s not always convenient or even completely secure. SALT can change that. This is a credit card sized device that serves as a keyless entry system for your phone. You can pair the SALT card with your phone to unlock your phone when the card is within 10 feet of it. Your phone locks itself when you move away from it.

The SALT card is made to fit in your wallet. Its battery lasts over 1 year. The SALT card can not only unlock your phone but also allows you to track the location of your wallet or purse. It even lets you restrict access to certain apps when the SALT card is not present. The SALT card is compatible with iOS and Android devices. It is on Kickstarter now.
