Meet Rimo: a smartphone dock that facilitates 360-degree video chatting with others. It lets people on the other end of a video call remotely control your phone’s movement. You don’t need to rely on Bluetooth to set this up. Just mount your smartphone on it, ask your friend to choose Rimo as the video source, and they will be able to use the device to move your smartphone.
Users have the option to use a keyboard, trackpad, or mouse to control Rimo. The Rimo Cameraman app will bring face tracking to the device, so you can stay in the frame while moving. According to the developers, the technology used here is similar to Li-Fi. More info is available here.
