Robot dogs such as Spot have been covered in the media numerous times. The Petoi Bittle is a palm-sized robot dog that you can bring home to learn more about coding. It moves on its 4 legs and has a frame that is compatible with most 9g servos.
The makers used 9 x P1S servos to actuate Bittle. It is driven by NyBoard V1, which is a customized Arduino board. A Raspberry Pi can be mounted to it to analyze more data. The robot has a Bluetooth dongle for wireless connectivity. Bittle can be programmed in C and Python. It is also ready for graphical programming.
