So you want to take your barbell workouts to the next level? The OpenBarbell V2 is a smart gadget that lets you do just that. It tracks average velocity, range of motion, rep duration, bar position, and peak velocity location. It also has an open source app. OpenBarbell V2 has a draw-string rotary sensor and connects to the end of your barbell via a magnetic hook and stainless steel wire.
The device can be used to track various moves, including squat, deadlift, snatch, and clean & jerk. Its app will be available for iOS and Android devices.
