Meet the Noke: a Bluetooth padlock that saves you from having to worry about losing your keys ever again. When you press the device, it wakes up to search for your phone. If your phone is within 10 feet, Noke will unlock. There is no need to launch an app from your phone or look for keys. Noke is compatible with iOS and Android devices. You will be able to use its apps to share your lock with others and track who has accessed it.
So what if you lose your phone? The developers have come up with Quick-Click technology that allows you to create a custom access code in that situation. Noke is good looking and water resistant. Its battery lasts for a year and can be replaced by you. An optional bike mount is also available for it. The project is now active on Kickstarter.
