Matchstick: Firefox OS HDMI Stick [App Enabled]

matchstickmatchstick

We have seen various HDMI sticks in the past couple of years. But none of them use Firefox OS. The Matchstick is different. It is a HDMI stick that lets you watch your movies and play games on your HDTV more conveniently. This WiFi-connected HDMI stick plugs into your HDTV or HD monitor and lets you interact with your content. It has an open hardware and software platform. Since Firefox OS is adaptable, you can have a lot of fun with a HDMI stick like this.

Matchstick allows app developers to come up with innovative app ideas for it. Buyers can take advantage of apps in the Mozilla app store to get going. The device has a dual-core Rockchip 3066 processor, 4GB on-board storage, and 1 GB of DDR3 memory. You can use the device to Fling content from your computer or iOS/Android device to your TV. Matchstick is already killing it on Kickstarter.
