You don’t need me to tell you that you can have lots of fun with a decent electric bike. The GiBike certainly looks like a fun bicycle to try. It is a light, folding bicycle that offers smartphone integration. It has a USB port to charge your device. It can go for 40+ miles on a LiFePo4 battery. It weighs 37.4 lbs. You get GPS, social networking and an integrated anti-theft bike.
The Gi Bike also has smart rear and frontal LEDs that keep the rider visible at night. You can fold the bike in 3 seconds. Its carbon drive belts do not require you to spend a whole lot of time maintaining your bike. The Gi Bike is compatible with iOS and Android devices. It will be on Kickstarter soon.
