Meet the Dride: a connected dashcam that connects to the cloud and helps you avoid collisions on the road. It is powered by a Raspberry Pi unit and has a SDK to let you develop your own apps for it. Drive has Bluetooth, WiFi, and GPS. It has voice commands and real-time safety alerts for lane deviation or frontal collision.
Dride connects to the cloud, allowing you to save your driving history and upload footage. The product is expected to ship in September.
