Meet the DOBOT MG400: an industrial grade desktop robot made with makers and computer science students in mind. It has a lightweight design and can be easily carried in a backpack. It uses a smart collision detection algorithm with a collision force threshold less than 12N to stop automatically when it touches an obstacle.
This robot can be taught new moves by hand. You can also program it with drag & drop blocks or Lua scripts. It is pretty easy to set up too. Simply set the MG400 on your workbench, plug it in, and connect it to your PC or tablet via Ethernet or WiFi. This robot has a reach of 440mm with a max payload of 750g.
