Arduino and Raspberry Pi are wonderful platforms for learning DIY electronics. As Adafruit’s latest guide shows, you can easily build a Raspberry Pi powered boombox with AirPlay support. The Boomy Pi Boombox supports streaming from any iOS device.

For this project, you are going to need a Stereo Speaker Bonnet, Pi Zero W, 2200mAh battery, and a few other components. The body is 3D printed.
