6iPhone is one of the hottest gadgets around. It is not a surprise to see so many iPhone thieves out there. Some of these thieves have become more sophisticated and found ways to keep what they steal without being tracked. Nobody likes having their iPhones stolen. While there is no way to guarantee your iPhone does not get stolen, there are anti-theft apps available that can reduces the chances of that happening. They are not bulletproof but are better than the alternative. These 5 anti-theft apps for iPhone can alert you when people mess with your phone:
Motion Alarm: a pretty cool app that can keep thieves away (at least the ones that are not that desperate). As soon as the preset level of movement is reached, your alarm goes off, giving the party involved the indication that it is time to move on. It can block iPhone sleep mode for continuous usage.
Gotcha Pro Alarm System: not only allows you to keep track of your device at all times, it also prevents thieves from disarming your phone. It offers e-mail and Twitter GPS notifications too.
Alarm Security ALL-IN-1: another anti-theft application for iPhone that lets you lock your device and keep it safe. It does make an annoying sound and should give most people away. It offers fingerprint verification too.
Find My iPhone: if your iPhone is stolen even with all the precautions that you took, you can use this app to try and recover your device. The fact that this feature is available on your iPhone can turn some thieves off.
Immobilizer for iPhone: protects your iPhone against theft by detecting motion and alarming you. The alarm sounds even if the app is turned off.
