3Being a parent may look easy when you are reading “parenting for dummies.” Unfortunately, things are never as easy as they are in movies or books. Thankfully, there are apps available for iPhone that can help parents learn new things, keep track of their baby, and make sure everything is in order. These 8 iPhone applications for parents can help new fathers and moms do those and more:
Baby Tracker: it helps you keep track of nursing sessions for your baby on your iPhone. It’s pretty flexible and supports multiple babies too.
Baby Activity Logger: it has a very intuitive interface and helps you track all of your babys activities. Device synchronization over bluetooth is nice too.
SitterCalc: if you are a busy mom or dad and want to have an easy to use tool to keep track of your babysitter’s work, this free app is all you’ll need.
Baby Names Plus: the perfect name finder tool for parents-to-be. It has over 25K names for boys and girls. You can browse through names based on popularity and other factors.
iRewardChart: an innovative application that lets you keep track of your children and reward them for completing the chores you have set them up with.
iCurfew for iPhone: nothing is more frustrating than having a child out doing things and not knowing where he/she is. This app solves that problem.
Parent I-C-E: enables you to store your emergency contacts, medications, medical conditions and allergies for you and your children on your iPhone.
Parenting Ages & Stages: a free magazine that you can go through on your iPhone and pick up some useful parenting tips from.

I wish I had an iPhone when my kids were still babies! True, these apps won't do everything for us moms but they surely make our lives a whole lot easier. Who said iPhone was just a phone?
Now that I am a working mom with 2 kids, I still rely on iPhone apps to make my life easier. I simply love this app called Intuition. It helps me balance my time by managing my tasks, to-dos and appointments. It also has a Location Alert which comes in handy whenever I forget to do my shopping and come near a grocery store. The best part about Intuition is that it's free. You can go check it out on http://www.iconapps.com/product.htm” http://www.iconapps.com/product.htm.
