1In the past few months, we have stayed away from Cydia applications just to make sure people who shouldn’t be jailbreaking their phones don’t be tempted to do so. But there is no question that there are plenty of useful applications available through Cydia. Not every is going to make it to iTunes, which is why having an alternative app market is helpful.
There are plenty of Cydia apps around, in fact to many to list here. But here are 10 Cydia apps that could get you started on the right track:
Infinidock: as the name suggest, this application makes it easy to customize your iPhone’s interface and add as many icons as you want to your dock.
Overboard: a very handy app that can show an overview of SpringBoard’s pages and allow you to jump among them. Supports Winterboard themes as well.
Fast Reader: a very cool app that integrates a customizable reader in your lockscreen. You can add Twitter Search and all kinds of feeds to your lockscreen.
Xpandr: a cool little app that allows you to define an unlimited number of shortcuts to help you get more done on the road without doing more. Pretty useful if you use your creativity.
Action Menu Plus Pack: a super app that adds a variety of actions with every application on your iPhone. It works with your Twitter clients as well.

QuickReply – definitely the best. Can respond to a text without having to leave any app you are currently using.
SBSettings – swipe across the time at the top of the screen and a menu drops down. Quickly activate wifi, data, airplan mode. Options lets you hide any icon on the "desktop" of your phone, including cydia apps you dont need to open.
MultiIconMover – no more dragging icons around. Make em shake and then give each icon a tap and it will put a check mark. Scroll to the right screen and then then press the home button. Boom. All moved.
LockInfo – customize your lock page. I like mine to show any SMS I have received as well as the weather. very convenient for not having to unlike your phone to check if you have a message. requires a bit of customizing to play around with however.
