Nima: Smart Sensor for Testing Your Food for Gluten

In the past few months, we have covered plenty of useful apps for those following a gluten-free diet. Eating out when you are on a strict diet is not without its challenges. Nima is an interesting device that aims to help you test your food for gluten. Just provide it with a small sample, and this smart sensor lets you know whether is safe to eat.

Nima has an application that lets you access reports and share data with others. The device detects gluten in 20 parts per million. While we haven’t tested this particular device, it could prove interesting for those who need to be on a gluten-free diet.
