Apple Announces New MacBook, HBO on Apple Devices, Apple Watch
0Apple’s big event is finally over. The company announced its new Apple Watch, which happens to have up to 18 hours of battery life. The watch will start shipping on April 24, but you will be able to pre-order starting April 10. The Apple Watch app, which is what you need to customize your watch is available in iOS 8.2. You can download the new update today.
During the event, Apple demonstrated how the watch can help you pay for things, travel more easily, and even get a cab. Since developers are still coming up with apps for the device, the sky’s the limit. Let’s not forget that this is a pretty awesome fitness device.
Speaking of new products, Apple device owners will be able to experience HBO’s streaming service for $14.99 a month. The Apple TV did not get a major upgrade but will sell for $69. During the event, Apple also announced a new MacBook with a 12″ display and MacBook Air and MacBook Pro upgrades. The new MacBook has a thin design, a brand new keyboard with butterfly mechanism, and a pressure sensitive Force Touch trackpad. It will also have USB-C, which gives you power, data transfer, DisplayPort, HDMI, and VGA all in one port. The new Mac notebook sells for $1299 and will ship starting April 10.
