Moto 360 Finally Debuts: iWatch Killer?
0Apple is expected to announce its first iWatch next week. It is not going to ship until 2015, but the company already has a few competitors. The LG G Watch R is certainly a decent watch but most Android fans have been excited to see the Moto 360 in action. The wait is finally over. The watch has a round design with a steel case and Corning Gorilla Glass. It displays your notifications based on your location, thanks to Android Wear. It supports voice commands as well.
Moto 360 keeps track of your steps and measures your heart rate. The Moto 360 heart activity app shows the progress you are making towards reaching your goal. Here are the specs:
- Memory: 4GB internal storage + 512MB RAM
- Pedometer
- Optical heart rate monitor (PPG)
- 1.56” 320 x 290, 205ppi
- IP67
- 320 mAh battery
- Wireless charging
- Android Wear
So is it worth owning? Not everyone seems impressed. In fact, top bloggers seem a bit frustrated with software issues and battery life. It will be interesting to see how the iWatch stacks up against the Moto 360 and other top smartwaches that were announced recently.
