Already have a MakerBot 3D printer and its iOS app? You can now use MakerBot PrintShop to create and 3D print things on your Replicator printer. The app enables you to create 3D printed signs, letters, and everything in between. You can print rings, bracelets, and choose from Thingiverse designs to get more out of your printer. This app keeps track of your designs and syncs them to your cloud library.

MakerBot PrintShop not only lets you 3D print all kinds of cool things, it also gives you the chance to monitor your printers using your printer’s onboard camera. You can also pause or cancel your prints. The app is available for free.

In the past few weeks, Apple has been creating ads to show how iPhones can be used as fitness tracking devices. The latest ad picks up where the previous one  left off. It shows how an iPhone can be used as a pet tracker, educational tool, or even a flashlight. In other words, Apple is trying to convey the message that the iPhone is a multi-faceted device. We are going to see many more ads like this in the near future, or so it seems.
