iOS-Enabled Smart Button Monitors Your Baby’s Breathing Movement
0Bringing a new baby into this world is an amazing experience. Taking care of one is not easy at all, especially if you are not experienced. Tragic accidents happen all the time. That is one of the main reasons more parents are open to the idea of relying on smart monitors to catch potential issues before they become something serious for their baby. Monbaby happens to be a compact solution that monitors your baby’s sleep and sends breathing movements to your phone.
Monbaby snaps on to your newborn’s onesies easily. Parents will be able to use this device to figure out how well their children are sleeping. The device can be used to analyze sleep patterns of children and get recommendations on how to improve them. This is essentially a wearable accelerometer that measures motion and movements. Measurements are done in real-time, 5 times per second and sent over Bluetooth LE to a smartphone app. The device uses a 3V coin-cell battery that can last up to a year in passiv mode.
Monbaby can help you keep a closer eye on how your baby is sleeping. It will be compatible with iOS devices at first but Android support could happen faster if enough funds are raised. You can support this project on Kickstarter.
