10 Quality VPN Apps for iPhone & iPad
0Many folks are worried about losing their privacy these days. You can’t blame anyone if you are not taking measures to protect your communications online. Investing in a decent VPN service certainly helps. There are plenty of good ones around. Not all of them actually have a decent iOS app. Here are 10 VPN apps you can use to protect your online privacy:
SurfEasy VPN: protects your security on WiFi hotspots and encrypts all your data. Encrypts all traffic on your device.
VPN Express: protects your privacy and lets you access all websites and applications like YouTube, Hulu, Facebook, and Twitter. Gives your computer a new IP address to hide your real one.
Astrill: one of my favorite VPN services around. Astrill for iPhone is not perfect but it does use IPSec AES 256-bit encryption for your protection. It supports many VPN protocols.
Free VPN – Onavo Protect: helps you keep your data safe when you browse. It notifies you when you are connected to an unsecured network and keeps malicious sites from causing damage.
Vpn One Click Professional: lets you access blocked services with VPN servers available all over the world.
Cisco AnyConnect: provides easy-to-deploy network connectivity from any Apple device. It offers support for RADIUS, RSA SecurID, Active Directory/Kerberos, Digital Certificates, LDAP, and multifactor authentication. Policies can be configured locally.
HMA! Pro VPN: Hide My Ass gives you a secure connection no matter where you are. Perfect if you plan to use your iPad on the go to get business done.
VPN Unlimited: free to try and does not cost a lot on an annual basis. It unblocks sites, bypasses ISP restrictions, and secures your Internet connection.
Express VPN: an iOS 7 optimized app that lets you use any website anywhere. It is not the cheapest at $99 a year but it does have server locations in Americas, Europe, and Asia.
SafeTun VPN: an easy to setup VPN app for your phone with enterprise standard security. 6 months of service costs you about $20. We found the service to be reliable but Astrill is still my favorite.
Astrill happens to be my favorite app in this group. That does not mean the rest can’t be useful. If you are already paying for a VPN service, you should check with your provider to get its official iOS app instead of spending more money on VPN products.
