Your take: what’s your favorite weight loss app for iPhone?
hands down, the best iPhone meal planning app is intelli-Diet (http://www.intelli-Diet.com) i lost over 10 pounds in the first month I started using it!
Yup, I agree with you intelli-Diet pretty much changed my life.
I have struggled with weight problems all my life and I always failed because I focused just on diet. Finally, I realized I achieved more success as I had more information available to me about my health. Now I like to track what I eat, how much physical activity I am getting, bookmarks to sites with my favorite healthy recipes, and the shopping list for those recipes. I used to have to do that with multiple separate apps, but now I do it all with LifeTopix. It's really made a huge difference.
Try out "Monitor Your Weight" (http://bustan.net/monitoryourweight/) .
Designed to motivate people to lose weight by tracking their daily weight-loss progress and providing necessary details to know what needs to be done. Best of all, its Free.
The best weight loss app for the iPhone is hands down intelli-Diet (http://intelli-Diet.com). This app is fantastic in that it takes into account what you have in your pantry and the food that you like and it plans out a diet for you to follow based on the amount of weight that you want to lose and also how you currently weight and how tall you are. It will tell you based on the data that you input how long it will take you to reach the weight that you want to be. If you are lucky enough to have reached your goal, it tells you how to maintain it. The app allows you to email your plan to an email address which is good because I often want to print my daily plan and I do not have a way to do that off of my iPhone. I have bought one for my sister as a birthday present and she reports that it is the best diet app that she has ever used. She and I hate to count calories and the beauty of this diet is that you do not have to count anything. The app does all the counting and figuring for you. I hate the entire serving size calculations that many diets require and there is none of that calculating while using this app. Another very cool thing about this app is that it gives you many alternatives to the menus that it suggests and you can just refresh the screen to bring up another suggestion. The app has a water tracker for folks like me who forget to drink water and it even has a reminder function to remind you that it is time for a snack or whatever. This app is super!
I looked at "intelli-diet" and it looks really good! Reminds me of "Noom weight loss coach" for android a bit, except "Noom" is free, and "intelli" is $4.50.
A great app I use is "Livestrong" on my Ipod touch. It is really good, simple, and colourful, which keeps me motivated. 🙂
I also use "Calorie King" on my Ipod because it tells you the calories in 1000's of items from exact brand names (e.g. Arnotts) without internet! (which means it great for your phone too)
"Myfitness Pal" is also good but it looks a little too complicated for my likings, and the "Flat Belly Program" is very good and super motivational!
Try them all and see which one works the best!
I tried most of those app and no doubt that what works best for me is Nutrino. I get actual food recommendations that allow me to accomplish my weekly goal. Simple and user friendly. I just love it.
I am a big NUTRINO fan. I like the fact that I get actual dish recommendations that make it very easy to follow a healthy diet and accomplish my weight goals.
