It’s that time of year again. We are getting awfully close to the release date of iPhone 4G, and everyday we are hearing more rumors about how good the next generation iPhone will be. We already have a whole lot of information about iPhone 3.0. But there is still a lot to be learned about this new phone. For starters, we still don’t know when Apple will introduce this new phone. All signs point to WWDC, but Apple has not confirmed anything in that regard. With that in mind, here are the rumors worth entertaining at this point.
- iPhone 3.0 GPS: what will iPhone 4G’s GPS is capable of is still not known. Can we really get a compass and turn by turn direction all on one device?
- iPhone 4G Release Date: Apple is expected to introduce iPhone 4G soon, but we are going to have to wait for a while to get our hands on it. Wired.com suggests early July for iPhone 3.0’s release date. The announcement could come as soon as next Monday.
- iPhone 3.0 Camera rumors: one of the hottest topic on the Web. From Twitter to Facebook people are talking about what we can expect from iPhone 3’s camera. Can we really get that video camera that we have been waiting for?
- iPod rumors: what is going to happen to iPod product line is still not known. A lot of sites have reported about iPod Touch getting its own camera. And a larger screen can be in the works.
- iPhone 3.0’s Battery Life: a lot of folks have complained about iPhone 3G’s battery life. If the rumors are true, we are going to get a bit more juice with the next generation iPhone.
- Larger iPod Touch: we have been hearing a lot about Macbook 3G and Apple netbook. But Apple MediaPad has gotten the most coverage in the news. Can we really get an iPod Touch XL?
Not all of these rumors are going to turn out to be true. But even if a quarter of them are, we are set for one exciting summer.

I cant wait for the new 4g to come out i hear that it is going to have not only picture txt but there will be a holographic as well this means you can send a holograph to anyone with an iphone what it does is you take a video of yourself talking then you send it as a hologram so when the person gets it in there txt they can set the iphone down on the table press play and watch a holograph of the person in 3-D i am counting down the days………… oh yea and this is a man from the future i have come back in time to write this well have a great day but whatever you do don’t go to the Luxor hotel on the 25 of march in the year 2018 i have told u too much already your friend from the future, Dalton

The 4G will be very appealing, but the holographic technology will not be available until at least 2012. I would bet on the 4G having iChat, MMS Messaging (FINALLY!), and more apps to customize the screen colors and ringtones, as well as blinking light above screen for message detection. It will be very similar to the 3GS, but with a few more fun features. I am waiting until next year to get my iPhone because I don’t JUST want a 3GS, I want mine to be the top dog of technology. There are outlooks in 2012 of a touch screen phone that expands and projects a hologram keyboard to type on! I am excited for 2012! Go to http://www.concept-phones.com

I’m due for an upgrade with att in december and I was going to get the 3GS. But now that I’ve heard the umors about the 4G, do you guys think it’s worth to wait a while longer? And if so… How much longer do you think I would have to wait? Let me know what you think.

I don’t believe the 4G iPhone will be out at least till early 2010. Apple works on a cycle. The next announcement is probably iPod Touch Video + New Macs. Then we will see the iPad. Probably after we will see iPhone 4G. You never know what Apple does but I doubt we will see a new iPhone in the next couple of months.
I have been searching for atleast 2 months now and most of the sites i have been on say that the iPhone 4g will be coming to verizon around June of 2010 !
Can’t wait for the arrival of June, 2010. Hopefully it will be a full revamp.
iPhone 3Gs is the same than iPhone 3G with two or three improvements.

Isn’t Apple going to sign with Tmobile? Rumors are flying around everywhere now and I am trying to determine if I should wait until Apple is with Tmobile? Or If I went ahead and get Iphone with At&t and Apple will switch our provider from At&t to Tmobile? What you think?
one of the biggest questions asked???? who will be the wireless carrier for the new iphone 4g????
if it was up to me i would have to say that sprint should get it. they have much better coverage then virizon or at&t. most of virizons and at&t’s money goes to advertisement but what about the server it still sucks…
any body know wha the contract price range will be on the 4g
hard to say. If we get Verizon, then you could get similar contracts. But AT&T is struggling to keep up with iPhone load. Price hike or tiered plans could be in the cards.
I was thinking about investing in a new 3GS iphone when my contract ended this year and I do like my 3G iphone,
but I am hearing talk about the iphone 4.
So I will wait and learn more about it first. It sounds like a great phone!

Not long now 4g will be out june 7th, went in the o2 shop going back there in two weeks as they will no the date they will get it in wont be long now people
I was pretty blown away by the speed change when I swapped my girldriends iPhone 3g for my 3g S – the slightly better camera is no big shakes but the 32gb memory fits pretty much my entire music library on plus a lot of pictures…
… but iPod replacement is really not the point any more…

If the 4g has genuinely fast mobile broadband and 2core processing, then all you need is more memory and you can lose the laptop… … what next?
