iSmartAlarm Home Security, Snapgrip for iPhone
0We all do everything on our iPhones. Most folks take their smartphones with them everywhere they go. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could watch your home using your iPhone? iSmartAlarm is a home security alarm system that sends security alerts to users’ iPhones. Its WiFi camera detects activity in its surroundings and sends text or email to users.
The iSmartAlarm has LED lights around the lens and will work even if you turn all the lights off. It sends users screenshots of activities, so they can decide whether to call the police. The companion app for this device is compatible only with iOS at this point. This project is seeking funds through Indiegogo.
The iPhone already has a decent camera on-board. You can capture and edit photos and videos on it easily. Snappgrip can make taking one-handed photos even more convenient. It is a Bluetooth controller that attaches to the back of your phone and turns it into a point-and-shoot camera. Once attached to the back of the iPhone, Snappgrip lets users zoom in/put, focus, and change shooting modes with one hand.
As multiple sources have reported, a prototype of this product was presented at CES. It is expected to be compatible with the iPhone 4, 4S, and 5. The makers could come up with one for the Galaxy S III in the future though.
