Google Voice should not need any introduction. It is a very useful service for making phone calls over the Internet and can save its users money in the long run. The good news is Google Voice for iOS has received an update, making it iPhone 5 and iOS 6 friendly. The new version fixes a few bugs and offers performance enhancement over the previous version.
In order to use this application, you need to make sure your device runs iOS 4.3 or above (most of us won’t have to worry about that). The reaction to the update has not been great though. Many are complaining that many new bugs have surfaced in the new version. Some are even suggesting that upgrading to the new Google Voice app may not be worth the effort.
