Original iPhone Going for $10000, iPhone 5 App Screenshots
0The new iPhone is going to make its debut in the next few weeks (expected release date: September 12th). Many folks have already started offloading their older iPhones to make room for the new one. Sellers samsonbible and Phsledge are not selling new iPhones though. These folks each have a factory-sealed mint-condition versions of the first iPhone. You will have to spend $10k to get your hands on one.
The original iPhone is a 5 year old technology at this point. It does not have the fastest processor or the slimmest design. But a new, unopened original iPhone could serve as great collective item for the future. I highly doubt that too many people are looking forward to spending $10k on any of these old phones at this point. It will be interesting to see how successful these auctions will be.
Apple has been improving the iPhone over the years. The next generation iPhone is expected to have an even better design and a larger screen. In case you are wondering how your apps will look like on iPhone 5’s screen, these screenshots by iOS specialist Sonny Dickson should help. Dickson installed some applications into the tweaked 640 * 1136 iPhone simulator and the results are interesting. Apps that are optimized for iOS 6 appear to have interfaces that fit larger displays well. We do quite like the look. How about you?
