Google Drive, Chrome Come to iOS
0Google has had quite a busy week. It has announced a bunch of new products, including a tablet and a social player. The company has introduced some cool changes in its social network, Google+, as well. There is some good news for iOS users too. They will now be able to use Google Chrome and Google Drive on their iPhones and iPads.
With Google Drive for iOS, you will be able to manage your cloud account on the go. Google Drive is an inexpensive service that allows you to store your files online and share them with others conveniently. The app provides you with offline access. You can also edit files and search through them. The interface is quite decent but the editing features need some work. You do get 5 GB of free space to get started.
Google Drive is quite an exciting service but many iOS users are excited about the fact they can now use Chrome on their devices. The app has a lot in common with its Android cousin. It supports tab sync, so you can keep up with your favorite content across all your devices. You can send pages from Chrome on your computer to your iPhone to read them on the go. Chrome does have a privacy mode too. The speed is not the greatest though (especially when it comes to handling JavaScript). You can download Chrome for iOS here.
