More iPhone 5 Leaks, Apple Dreams of Made in U.S. Devices
0Another day, another iPhone 5 leak for the tech world to deal with. Plenty of folks are quite excited about the next generation iPhone. Considering that the device is going to have a larger display, it is going to be more popular than ever before. The photos of what seems to be the back plate of the iPhone 5 have been already leaked. Portion of the back are made out of metal, giving it an elegant look.
Interestingly enough, we can see the smaller dock connector in these photos. Apple has been rumored to be thinking about adopting a smaller dock connector in the upcoming iPhones and iPads. These photos suggest that’s the case. The earphone jack has been moved to the bottom corner of the device as well. A small opening can be seen between the camera lens and the LED flash. The leaked photos suggests that the device will have a 4 inch display but an edge-to-edge display will not be in the cards.
The iPhone is expected to make its debut this fall alongside of the next version of iOS. Even if the leaked photos are proven not to be authentic, Apple is expected to introduce major changes in the new iPhone 5. The company does get a bit of flak for manufacturing its products in a foreign country. Apple CEO Tim Cook is hoping that will change.
This is not well known…but the engine for the iPhone and the iPad are built in the U.S. in Austin, Texas … The glass is made in a plant in Kentucky,
